Black Stars midfielder Afriyie Acquah started his 11th game of the season as Yeni Malatyaspor played out a 3-3 draw away to Genclerbirligi at the Eryaman Stadium in Ankara.

Malatyaspor went in front in the 44th minute in the first half through forward Thievy Bifouma only to surrender their advantage in the second as the home side scored two goals in succession after the break to peg back Malatyaspor.

This is their fourth consecutive draw after a 4-0 mauling of Kayserispor in which Afriyie Acquah provided two assists. Malatyaspor went into this game on a back of goalless against Fenerbahce last week.

Afriyie was substituted in 79th minute as Malatyaspor fought back to equalise and establish another lead in the 85 and 86 minute respectively.

Despite ceding a significant amount of possession to the visitors , Genclerbirligi rallied back in the dying minutes of the game to score in 91 minute to draw level. This id second time Malatyaspor have lost points from a winning position in their last five matches

Yeni have moved into 6th position, four points behind Sivasspor at the top of the Turkish Super Lig.
