Torino’s U19 side started their Primavera campaign on a winning note against Cagliari last Saturday, thanks to a magnificent strike by Ghanaian forward Herbert Ansah.
Ansah shot Torino into the lead in the 40th minute after receiving a visionary pass from teammate Ali Dembele between two defenders on the edge of the 18-yard box.
Preceding the goal was a great movement and anticipation to receive the ball. Herbert’s calm control and instinct to hit the ball with his weaker foot into the left top corner was just incredible.
His stats last season speak loud about his knack for scoring a variety of goals in the opponent’s half. He found the net on 15 occasions whiles providing two assists in 25 matches in the U18 youth league.
Ansah’s strongest weapon is his incredible speed. He’s equally strong on the ball with his hold-up play.
Despite being left-footed his ability to score with his weaker foot as showed last Saturday is not in doubt.
