Sulemana made a cameo appearance in his debut for Ghana against Mali in a 2-1 victory to help renew confidence in the Black Stars’ 2026 World Cup qualification campaign.

The 21 year-old midfielder was introduced in the 88th minute for Salis Samed to strengthen Ghana’s midfield with the score at 1-1.

His presence gave license to captain Thomas Partey to surge forward in support of the attack.

That proved decisive as the Black Stars created two goal scoring opportunities, with Jordan Ayew securing the winner in the 94th minute.

Ghana will play their next qualifying match against Central African Republic on Monday 10 June at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
