Ahmed Awua Ankrah has completed a three-year transfer to Latvia’s top-division side, Riga FC, from Slovenian club FC Koper.
The 22-year-old, who previously captained Parma’s youth team, made a strong impression during his time in Slovenia, where he made 33 appearances, contributing two assists and scoring a goal.
Awua’s consistent performances made him one of the most sought-after midfielders in the Slovenian league, and his move to Riga FC represents a significant step forward in his young career
Riga FC, currently second in the Latvian Virsliga, will look to Awua to bring added strength and stability to their midfield as they push for the league title.
Ahmed is expected to play a key role in helping Riga FC achieve their ambitions this season.
