Sassuolo forward Amoako Minta stole the headlines for the Neroverdi last Saturday when his two assists ensured a comfortable 3-1 win away to Udinese in the Italian Primavera1 division.
Amoako Minta was the architect behind Sassuolo’s first and third goal of Sassuolo that ultimately sealed victory for the Neroverdi.
The 19 year-old made timely run to receive a pass with his first touch into the final third, Amoako kept his composure whiles facing the Udinese goalkeeper and defender to find teammate Kevin Bruno to give Sassuolo the lead in the 23rd minute.
Minta’s second assist came in similar fashion, but this time, he received a long ball outside the 18 yard box and sent in a low pass for Denis Șandro to score the third and last goal for Sassuolo in the 57th minute.
The young Ghanaian winger seems to have settled well since joining Sassuolo’s U 20 last season when he was a bit part player.
Amoako Minta has been a regular fixture for the Green and Blacks this season, playing 20 league games. He has three goals and five assists in the Primavera1(U20) division. Sassuolo are third on the league table with 46 points after match day 23.
