Black Stars left-back Ebenezer Annan has signed a three-year permanent deal with French club Saint Etienne from Serbia giants Crvena Zvezda. His contract contains an option to extend for another year.
Ebenezer Annan was a prominent player for Crvena Zvezda, formerly Red Star Belgrade, in the second half of last season after an early return from his loan at OFK Beograd.

The 22 year-old made a total of 29 Superliga appearances last season, playing 10 for his parent club Crvena Zvezda. He contributed significantly to the success of Crvena Zvezda who won four trophies including the Serbia Cup and Superliga.
Annan was officially announced this morning after successfully passing his medicals last Monday in London. He will wear the number 19 jersey when AS Saint Etienne kick-starts their French Ligue II campaign this Saturday against Stade Laval.
According to C.EO Oliver Arthur, Ebenezer Annan’s move to France is good for his development as a young player. He believes Annan has what it takes not only to flourish in France but also to help Saint-Etienne achieve their objectives.
