Ghanaian striker Ibrahim Mustapha scored a brilliant goal for Novi Pazar in their Superliga match against Spartak Subotica over the weekend.
Mustapha scored the second goal in Novi Pazar’s 3-1 win in the playoff game, giving the club hope of avoiding relegation this season.
The 21-year-old made an incredible effort to go past three defenders with sheer strength and determination before slotting the ball past the opposing goalkeeper and into the bottom left corner.
His 73rd-minute goal was crucial for Novi Pazar after Spartak Subotica levelled the score with a penalty kick through Nemanja Nikolic.
Stefan Dimic’s goal in the 78th minute extended Pazar’s lead and sealed their victory.
Mustapha has been a key member of Novi Pazar’s squad since joining on loan from Red Star Belgrade in the second half of the season.
He has two goals in ten appearances for Pazar, who face Mladost Lucani in the next round of the play-offs on Thursday.
